Big messages that WACs give regarding diversity and collaboration are that as a learning provider, we must provide culturally and racially diverse learning opportunities. These must be demonstrated with activities, curriculum, and materials. This will be presented with specific materials like books, pictures, dolls, games, and other materials that are not stereotypical, diverse music, a balance of differentt ethnic and cultural groups, stop bias behavior, redirecting an inappropriate conversation or behavior, being aware of situations that involve bias- while refusing to ignore bias.
