I discovered that some of the students might need accommodations and/or more help than others. I didn’t find any of the WAC standards surprising, I think everything that I read is definitely important to know and some of it did look familiar, some of it was common sense, but I did learn about accommodations and that is very important information. I can see how some of the WACs will influence my day-to-day practice in caring for children because I read about accommodations and it really stood out to me and I can write a summarized plan for the children who need accommodations in my lesson planning notes.
