Reply To: What would you do if you suspected child abuse or neglect?

I would let the admin know before going any further. Then I would follow up with the parents or guardians of the child(ren) if I am allowed to do so and if they act in any suspicious way or try to avoid the subject, then I would contact CPS. The child(ren)’s safety will always come first and so doing what I believe is the right thing to do is what I will do in order to keep them from harm’s way.
