WAC 110-300-0160 states that early learning providers must provide culturally and racially diverse learning opportunities through their curriculum activities and materials that represent the kids and families. These can include things like racially diverse dolls and music. The big messages that the WAC relates are that all children should feel represented and accepted, and that including these racially diverse learning opportunities will help do that.
