On a tour of the classroom, I would highlight the entrances and exits, materials within easy access of children as child appropriate and safety conscious materials, and the locks and strategies we have for keeping age inappropriate material inaccessible to children. I would explain our emergency protocols, allergy information and protocol, our food safety certifications, our hand washing procedures, first aid kits and first aid and CPR training.
