As I give them a tour around the facility, I’d note the secure doors at the entrance that you need a code to get in. I’d note the fenced in play area, away from the eyes of people on the street. I’d show them our child friendly classroom with age appropriate toys, and all the cleaning materials and sharp teacher equipment out of the reach of children. I’d show them the fire escapes, the alarms, the detectors. The door latches that keep the children from opening the doors and wandering off. The bathrooms that are age appropriate.
