Warmly welcome them to the school and begin the tour by showing them the security of the building itself before moving onto the classroom. Walking them through the class, the different stations, the sinks and bathrooms with hand washing policies, the first aid kits on the wall, the cubby spaces that store extra clothes and send them home with a packet that details/outlines the procedures of all emergency’s, snack or lunch expectations (from the teachers, parents and children) as well as forms that detail medication/sickness policy. I would also tour the playground to show the area where the children play and the path there from the classroom.
