My favorite ages are two and four year olds. I enjoy working with two year olds because at that age they are learning many different new words and it is also very exciting watching them pick up on the littlest things. Simple words as “thank you” and “please”. We play a game with the little ones “feeding the monster”, we hand them each different color popsicle sticks and they try to pronounce the color and then they put the popsicle stick into a decorated box. While this is a way for them to learn their colors it is also a fun activity. Working with four year olds is also exciting because eveyrday it is something new, watching them learn how to write their name, learn simple patterns.
