My favorite age to work with are toddlers. Interestingly enough, if I had been asked this question a few years ago I would have said something different. I did not realize how amazing working with toddlers would be. I always viewed toddlers and babies as nothing more than such. However, toddlers experience a tremendous amount of growth and learning in the first few years of their life. This was something I did not realize until I started working with this age. It is amazing to watch how toddlers learn new things every day, and just how fast they grow. I would argue that the first few years of a child’s life are the most important ones, as how they are treated by parents and caregivers set the foundation of how they will be as children. How we act around our toddlers really do affect their development. They are truly like sponges, absorbing everything they see and hear.
