    I believe animals are an effective teaching tool. In my classroom we have a class pet fish. Even though he is just a fish the interactions between the fish and the children has taught them to be gentle and the kids are always very excited to see him! This can be said for any pet really. Growing up with dogs and cats it has established a strong relationship as man’s bestfriend.
