When I was in kindergarten I had a teacher that was very serious and stern and rarely smiled or interacted with the class in a playful way. Even at that young age, I was stressed out and remember not enjoying school. It was difficult to get past the teacher’s demeanor to focus on what was being taught. I remember Kindergarten as not being a fun time for me.
