I would decorate with calm pastel colors, and have a calming area, with fidget toys and books. Knowing the child&#8217;s triggers and teaching them some calming breathing techniques could help.</p>

I would change the bin often, using water, snow or mud.  Simple tools like funnels and cups are great, too.</p>
<p>Food prep or a game of guessing different scents in a bottle to change things up. Music and songs like &#8220;headed and shoulders&#8221; increase listening skills.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>In the fall it is great to have a large basket full of dried vines, small pumpkins and the like. A leaf rubbing activity is a bonus. Supply rakes for outside play. In the winter the basket can be full of pinecones. Supply buckets, and sleds for outside fun. Could also melt an ice cube. Spring you can plant seeds in paper cups and watch them&hellip;</p>
