When a new student joins the classroom, providing pictures or a little booklet of the family and culture is a great way to introduce and have the children engage and become familiar with new student.

I think this is a great idea, I believe that kids learn through modeled behavior’s. The Picture book of the family is a great way to this lesson.

It also comes down to what you mean by diversity. While talking about diversity, people tend to consider the cultural aspects but often forget to be inclusive towards neurodivergent children. If you truly want to celebrate diversity you can include some activities that cater to the needs of neurodivergent kids as well like DIY crafts.
