GuestJuly 22, 2025 at 5:34 pmTo stay motivated, I can listen to mindfulness podcasts during my lunch break (while the children are napping). As I work alone, and do not have any staff to communicate with, I will need to self-reflect often throughout the day to check in on my needs and my mood in order to maintain calm and be my best self.

GuestJanuary 21, 2026 at 3:27 amTo keep myself and my colleagues motivated to practice mindfulness daily, I make it a habit to appreciate them daily, by complimenting them on their smiles or letting them know how much I appreciate them or the inspirational quotes I see in their classrooms or on their doors. Also, I encourage colleagues to take meditation walks, self-reflect, and often help whoever I am working with at the moment to focus on the present and not on a bothersome situation they may have experienced with a parent.

Great strategies, Josephine! Your approach to appreciation and mindfulness is inspiring and fosters a positive work environment.
