MemberJanuary 26, 2024 at 9:21 pmI look at my routines as of recent and see how I can improve them or steps I want to take to change and how I want to implement them. OR just have a stay at home weekend and completely recharge 🙂

- calling upon colleagues for support or advice at difficult times.
- Working with a ‘buddy’ or mentor to develop strategies to reduce stress.
- Developing strong professional relationships and networks that will support their confidence and professional direction.
- Seeking support, advice and training from external sources.
- Participating in active play with children every day.

– When I start to feel compassion fatigue I need to take a moment step out or step to aside and breath try to relax on my own.

MemberFebruary 12, 2024 at 5:15 amI not only communicate to those around me but I also take time for myself. It is so important to remember that your mental health is just as important as your physical and if you were sick you would take the day. Sometimes just talking a day to refresh or even just sleep can fix so much.

MemberFebruary 19, 2024 at 4:14 amEngage in self-care behaviors before it gets to that point but especially take special care of yourself during that time. Also, talk with coworkers about it. It can be a huge release of stress to just tell someone about your struggles. They know what you’re going through so talk with them!

Talking with someone about it so they know whats going on, sitting for a little while and taking a break. Or going for a walk to calm down and kind of refresh.
