You need to have a shcedule on the wall for everyone to see and in pictures so kids can understand. You can give them a two minute warning to transition to the next activtiy

I follow the same schedule every day on the most part. The older kids know the schedule as in what’s coming next in the day. They help the little kids learn the schedule by talking about what’s next. We seem to transition to the next activity pretty good.
