MemberJuly 19, 2024 at 5:39 amI would want most from my child’s provider: 1. A nurturing and engaging relationship with my child. 2. A developmentally stimulating environment. 3. Active and positive social/emotional coaching.
Fears I would have when leaving my child in someone else’s care: 1. That my child would be overlooked and not engaged with. 2. That my child wouldn’t be positively redirected from unwanted behavior. 3. That their social/emotional needs wouldn’t be met.
-
I would be worried about my child’s feeling being validated, my child not feeling included and my child being physically injured.

most important things that you want from your child’s provider?1. Clean/ safe environment
2. Friendly/ caring provider
3. honest communication about my child needs, wants, troubles and or successes
3 Fears
1. a provider wont be able to meet my childs emotional needs
2. my child could get seriously injured in the care of someone else
3. My child wont be given the proper learning environment to allow him to thrive

I would want my child’s provider to be educated, attentive, and sensitive to my child’s needs. I would worry about my child’s safety, whether or not they are being challenged intellectually, and whether or not they are interacting with others appropriately.

MemberJuly 27, 2024 at 7:59 pmAs a parent of a young child, I would want the following three things most from my child’s provider:
1. **Trust and Safety:** Assurance that my child is in a safe, secure, and nurturing environment where their well-being is a top priority. I would want to know that the provider is attentive, caring, and competent in handling any situation that may arise.
2. **Communication and Transparency:** Regular updates about my child’s activities, progress, and any concerns. Open and honest communication helps build trust and ensures that I am aware of my child’s development and any issues that need attention.
3. **Individualized Care and Attention:** Recognition of my child’s unique needs, interests, and developmental pace. I would want the provider to foster an inclusive and supportive atmosphere that encourages my child’s growth and learning.
Three fears I might have when leaving my child in someone’s care include:
1. **Safety Concerns:** Worrying about potential accidents, neglect, or any harm that could come to my child in a new environment. Ensuring the physical and emotional safety of my child would be a paramount concern.
2. **Lack of Individual Attention:** Fear that my child might not receive the necessary attention and care, leading to unmet needs or delayed development. I would worry about my child feeling neglected or not having their unique needs recognized and supported.
3. **Miscommunication:** Concern that important information about my child’s behavior, health, or emotional state might not be communicated promptly or effectively. This could lead to misunderstandings or missed opportunities to address issues early on.
