Some components of a good early learning environment that I think are especially important are having a space where children feel secure. For instance, having cubicles where toys are stored in a way that is easy for the, to reach.

Being safe and welcomed in an environment is best for all people. If you are uncomfortable somewhere and feel unwanted people tend to shut down. Same for children as it is with adults.

I believe having stuff at the children’s height where they can reach and having different kinds of toys that they may know some and new ones they’ve never seen it peeks their interest in wanting to know about it and learn more makes them feel appreciated

I believe that is very important for everything in the environment to be at the child’s height. The environment should be clean, beautiful, warm, and welcoming. There should be specific areas of the classroom for specific learning areas such as reading, math, sensorial, etc.

    • An environment where the children feel welcome and invited, people are kind and teachers are helpful. There are activities for all kinds of different interests that also help them use all different senses. Activities are easily accessible and they can move from one to the next making choices they are confident in.

I agree with Andraya on all these points. Setting up a space with all these components would be a perfect environment for young learners.

It is important to have a multi-faceted early learning environment for kids because it can cater to each child who are in different developmental stages, have different temperaments, and have different learning styles.

A place that they are greeted with smiles and feel comfortable at. Knowing they are cared for and safe and with many different learning adventures.

I also agree with your statement about a child being in a safe and comfortable environment. I also want to add that being in a welcoming, clean, and where everyone is kind and helpful type of environment is important for a child too.

an environment that is welcoming, safe, attractive, and well thought out are all good components of a good early learning setup. You want to feel happy and comfortable when you walk in the room!

The first priority is safety, which could mean making sure that shelves are securely attached to the walls, with no heavy items that could fall on top of a child if they run into it. A safe classroom also requires all parts of the room to be visible, to ensure that no child will get lost or be involved in something dangerous. After that, it’s important to have learning centers that appeal to each child. Some that I particularly like are dramatic play, sensory areas, and a quiet reading area.

Environment is everything. Children need to feel safe and want to feel like they are home. It is important to set up the room so that it is inviting, comfortable, and promotes learning on their own!

It’s important that the environment feel warm welcoming inspiring and creative. Toys letters numbers etc. should be eye level and in reach for easy access.

A classroom should be warm and welcoming to the students and it should be an environment where they can see everything and explore. Students should know where they can find certain things to play with, know where to locate their personal belongings and a place where they can relax and read a book or have quiet time by themselves away from a noisy environment.

Taking children into the group, teacher needs to immediately think about the organization of the subject-developing environment so that the period of adaptation to kindergarten is the most painless. It is also necessary to provide for different types of activities, such as; mathematics, reading, role-playing games, letters. To make it interesting and informative for children in kindergarten.

I think it’s especially important to have clear pathways to exits in case of an emergency and eyesight view for teachers to be able to see children from anywhere in the room for safety. I also think it’s important for louder play, such as dramatic play, to be in a separate place and often across the room from the quiet corner.
