safest places for a baby to sleep in is a single-level crib, infant bed, bassinet, or even a playpen.

The mattress should be firm and snuggle to the touch. if it’s a crib or bassinet the baby’s sleeping in, there should be no gap between the side of the crib’s side rails and the mattress so that the baby does not get entrapped.

It is recommended to use a firm and flat sleep surface, such as a crib mattress covered with a fitted sheet. It’s important to avoid using soft bedding, including pillows, blankets, and bumper pads.

Naomi, thank you for your input on the topic of sleep equipment for a 2-month-old infant. Your suggestion of using a single crib or playpen with a firm mattress aligns with safe sleep guidelines for infants. It’s important to ensure that the sleep environment is free from any soft bedding, pillows, or toys to reduce the risk of suffocation. Your recommendation promotes a safe and supportive sleeping environment for young infants. Well done!

Safest place for a baby to sleep is a single-level crib, with a firm mattress. They must have their own separate bedding as well.

•Mattress must be firm and snuggly touch each side of the crib or bed to prevent the infant from becoming entrapped between the mattress and crib side rails.

•Each child must have his own separate bedding and it needs to be stored without touching other bedding.
