For a 2-month-old infant, the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recommends the following sleep equipment:<div>
</div><div>- A firm, flat mattress with a tight-fitting sheet</div><div>- A crib or bassinet with a firm, snug-fitting mattress and no soft bedding, toys, or loose items</div><div>- A sleep sack or swaddle to help the baby feel secure and comfortable</div><div>
</div><div>It’s essential to avoid using soft bedding, pillows, or loose items in the crib, as they can increase the risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). Additionally, ensure the sleep environment is dark, quiet, and at a comfortable temperature. Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions and safety guidelines for any sleep equipment.</div>

A crib, bassinet or portable play yard with a firm, flat mattress and a fitted sheet. Avoid sleep on a couch or armchair or in a seating device, like a swing or car safety seat (except while riding in the car). Keep loose blankets, pillows, stuffed toys, bumpers and other soft items out of the sleep space.

You should use a child’s crib with a firm mattress and no gaps or space that the baby could fall into.

For a two-month-old infant, the safest sleep equipment would be a firm, flat mattress in an approved crib, bassinet, or playpen. The mattress should fit snugly against the sides of the crib with no gaps where the baby could get stuck. It’s important that the baby sleeps on their back to reduce the risk of SIDS, and the sleep area should be free of pillows, blankets, or stuffed animals that could pose a suffocation risk. Always make sure the sleep space is clean, safe, and free of any items that could be harmful to the infant.

The safest sleep equipment for a 2-month-old infant includes a flat, firm crib, bassinet, or play yard with a fitted sheet. Avoid pillows, blankets, crib bumpers, and stuffed animals to reduce the risk of SIDS. Always place the baby on their back for sleep.

For a 2-month-old infant, a safe sleep environment includes a firm crib or bassinet with a snugly fitted sheet, and the baby should be placed on their back to sleep. Use a swaddle or sleep sack to keep the baby warm without loose bedding. The mattress should be firm, and the room temperature should be between 68-72°F. Ensure the area is free of pillows, blankets, and toys to reduce the risk of suffocation or SIDS.

You can either put them in their crib with a firm mattress or a playpen with no gaps or anything in there with them.
