How do you think early learning providers can create a “serve and return” environment in their classrooms? How I think early learning providers can create a serve and return environment in their classrooms by reading books and sharing the focus when the child is looking at a book and points at something that shows interest the child making a sound moo the person says cow child responds back saying cow person says moo. Also, early providers can simply help/play with the child and let the child know their thoughts and feelings are being heard and understood. Also for early providers when you name things that the child is seeing, doing, or feeling you’re making important language connections in the brain.
