    1. What did you discover about the WACs while completing the activity? What I discovered about the WACs while completing the activity is all the different vocabulary there is and what they mean. Some vocabulary I never knew existed for example ” Chromated copper arsenate also as CCA, is a wood preservative and insecticide that contains roughly 22% arsenic a known carcinogen … information about health hazards of arsenic can be found on the department of health website.” This word I had never heard of or known about and it was interesting to find out about when I came across it.
    2. Were you surprised by any of the WACs? Yes, I was surprised by some of the WACs since these are all new to me, one of them was the gardens in the outdoor early learning program space. Reading through what is the right and wrongs to having a garden outdoors like using soil free from agricultural or industrial contaminants such as lead or arsenic if gardening directly in the ground. Using water that comes from a private well approved by local health, and so on about the rules. I didn’t know gardens could be allowed in early learning when rules are being followed.
    3. Can you see how the WACs will influence your day-to-day practice in caring for children? Why or why not? Yes, I can see how the WACs will influence my day-to-day practice in caring for children because this is my first job working with children I feel like I am learning a lot about how to take care / provide for the children more than I use to know, learning the new material is gonna help me be able to apply it while working with the children.
