GuestApril 23, 2026 at 6:52 pmTime saving hacks that have worked for me and my family is a big monthly calendar That I hung where it is visible and has all of our activities and chores and birthdays. Which helps my family and I see how our over-all month looks like. I also write scriptures, that keep us moving forward or motivating quotes to live by. Also alarms on my phone that go off the day before my kids have an appointment or if I have an appointment the next day helps as well.

Great strategies, Samantha! A visible calendar and motivational quotes can truly enhance organization and positivity for your family!

GuestApril 25, 2026 at 8:50 pmMy best time saving hack is making sure things are prepped the day or days before. In my workplace we have started a new curriculum and each Friday my co-teachers and I take the time to make sure everything we need is ready for the next week and have a list of supplies we need from the store or things we need to make for each section of the lessons, as well as having a binder in order of what we need for each day.
-
Great strategy, Makina! Prepping in advance not only saves time but enhances learning experiences for your little ones.

GuestMay 22, 2026 at 6:52 amI have been developing a to-do list for my weekends outlining tasks to complete during the week. For example, I plan and prepare two weeks’ worth of lesson plans, including activities and topics to discuss with the children. This approach also allows me to accommodate any unexpected changes and to prepare any materials needed for specific days.
-
Great strategy, Sokkea! Your proactive planning and flexibility will definitely enhance your teaching effectiveness and benefit your learners.

GuestMay 31, 2026 at 2:13 amMy best time-saving strategy is planning ahead by preparing lessons, materials, and supplies before the day begins. I also use checklists and consistent classroom routines to keep activities running smoothly. Staying organized helps me spend less time managing tasks and more time supporting children. One memorable example was when I had everything prepared in advance and was when I had everything prepared in advance and was able to give extra attention to a child who needed help. This improved the child’s confidence and participation, showing how good time management can positively impact children’s learning and development.
-
Great insights, Teiara! Your proactive planning and organization truly enhance your ability to support children’s growth. Keep it up!

GuestJune 12, 2026 at 6:50 pmThe best tactic for me is to arrive early to school, so that I have time to trouble shoot and unforeseen issues. I also set a rest timer when I arrive home, so that I can have 30 mins of rest before I send out the parent message update to the class.
-
Great strategies, Shelby! Arriving early allows for proactive problem-solving, and your rest timer is a smart way to recharge!

GuestJune 21, 2026 at 9:24 pmA time saving-hack I have is finding natural learning moments in pockets of transition or as they come up with individual students to reinforce concepts in class.A golden moment I’ve had with this is at the end of this past school year, we wanted to have the kids sing a song for their grown-ups at graduation. We often had them practice while waiting in line to wash their hands, or while walking somewhere. Students even started to sing it to themselves throughout the day because we were finding ways to work it in throughout the day! In the end, we probably had to do a bit less formalized practice time than we would have otherwise needed, AND transitions were easier because kids were focused on something they were excited about.
-
Great insights, Roo! Utilizing transitions for learning not only saves time but also engages students meaningfully. Keep it up!

GuestJune 26, 2026 at 10:14 pmA couple of my time-saving hacks are, of course, a daily checklist, my calendar, and setting timers for how long I have to focus on work until I get a break from the screen. I have started to use something called the Pomodoro timer and, in my case, I work for about 30 minutes before I can get up and walk around for 10 minutes. It can be adjusted for however long you want your focus and breaktime. I personally like a physical paper copy of a checklist, but many of my co-workers swear by the Outlook to-do list, which makes a little ding when you check something off.
-
Great tips, Jennifer! The Pomodoro technique is an effective way to maintain focus and productivity. Thanks for sharing!

GuestJune 28, 2026 at 6:47 pmI feel like my best time saving hack would during clean up or transition time would be having classroom jobs, where each student is so excited to help with their specific task that when each child is done then the whole classroom is finished together. Also having certain songs for cleaning up, washing hands, or getting ready for lunch.

GuestJuly 6, 2026 at 6:12 amI like to prepare ahead of time, so I am not rushed. For example, I clean as I go throughout the day, so closing the classroom is mostly already done. This, in turn, leaves me more time to plan for the next day, and I don’t feel as rushed. Any tasks I can delegate to the kids, I do; they enjoy helping, and it helps the teachers. Even if they create more work in the beginning for me, eventually they master it.

GuestJuly 17, 2026 at 6:42 amOne of my best time-saving strategies is to plan ahead and stay organized. Preparing materials, activities, and schedules before the day begins helps the classroom run more smoothly. I also find that using routines and involving children in simple tasks, such as cleaning up and organizing materials, saves time while teaching responsibility.A well-organized day can make a big difference for children because they know what to expect and feel more comfortable in the classroom. For example, having activities prepared ahead of time allows me to spend more time interacting with children, supporting their learning, and noticing their individual needs.Good time management helps create a calm and positive classroom environment where children can focus, participate, and enjoy learning.
