Our center uses feedback sessions, invites large and small group discussions and encourages interactions. We also appoint T.E.A.M. members to oversee various areas of the center.

We have weekly staff meetings to discuss things we need to improve on and also ideas to try in the future. Im thinking it may be a good idea to have a drop box for ideas for people to use if they feel uncomfortable in a group setting.

Weekly level meetings, teacher-assistant time, making in-service days a priority with designated time to collaborate and share ideas! 🙂

How about setting up a weekly “Inspo Hour”? Basically, you can all gather around and share what’s been sparking our creativity lately. Whether it’s a funky art project you stumbled upon or a cool new game idea, it’s all fair game! It’s like a mini-show-and-tell, but way more fun and inspiring. Plus, it’s a great way to bond with the team and get those creative juices flowing.

To boost creative thinking at our daycare, we can encourage collaboration among staff members through fun and easy initiatives.

    1. Schedule regular brainstorming sessions where staff can come together to share ideas and suggestions in a relaxed environment.
    2. Assign collaborative projects that require teamwork and problem-solving skills to develop new initiatives.
    3. Introduce fun and creative challenges or competitions to encourage staff to showcase their innovative ideas and talents.
    4. Plan team-building activities outside of work hours to strengthen bonds among staff members and promote a supportive work environment.

Our team collaborates with weekly planning meetings as well as monthly staff meetings. We all provide our feedback, discuss issues in our classroom and figure out how to best support our class in a very collaborative way.

I am a true believer in the fact that with open communication, anything can be done. When everyone in the center is moving as one unit, creativity and ideas will blossom.

We have monthly trainings at the last Friday of each month. We use that time to complete training and discuss updates/changes. We allow time for others to voice their opinions/concerns/ideas. One teacher gave me a small white board to hang up in my office and if she has any ideas, she can go write them down for me. We take time to discuss kids and families in her class and come up with ideas on how to better teach/guide them.

We have an idea box in our office to allow staff members to drop their ideas on how to boost our childcare program. This allows some staff who may not want to speak up about a change or new idea to still have input.

One of my favorite collaboration activities is to get people to create something together. In doing this, people’s personalities come through, which can help to strengthen dynamics between personalities that may appear to be opposite and gives them a common goal to strive for

I highly value teamwork between our staff members. I understand that everyone has a perspective and that it will be different than others, this can only add value to the team. I encourage input by having multiple meetings with various groups of my staff. I have weekly meetings with my administrative staff, and I have weekly check-ins with my teachers. We have monthly staff meetings for the whole organization. I am always seeking the opinions of others. Many of my employees who have been with me for a while know that I want their input, and they come to me with ideas.

We have monthly staff meetings that help so much. I love to hear ideas from the staff with how they feel we need to improve. Often they have great ideas and they love to have their voices heard. I see that my staff get really excited when I hear their ideas and we are able to make those ideas come to fruition.
