Great initiative, JLA! Feedback sessions, group discussions, and T.E.A.M. members are effective ways to boost creative thinking in our daycare. Keep it up!

MemberFebruary 29, 2024 at 2:40 pmWe have weekly staff meetings to discuss things we need to improve on and also ideas to try in the future. Im thinking it may be a good idea to have a drop box for ideas for people to use if they feel uncomfortable in a group setting.

Great suggestion, Trisha! Setting up a drop box for ideas can provide a comfortable space for sharing and encourage creativity among the team. Keep fostering open communication!

How about setting up a weekly “Inspo Hour”? Basically, you can all gather around and share what’s been sparking our creativity lately. Whether it’s a funky art project you stumbled upon or a cool new game idea, it’s all fair game! It’s like a mini-show-and-tell, but way more fun and inspiring. Plus, it’s a great way to bond with the team and get those creative juices flowing.

- Schedule regular brainstorming sessions where staff can come together to share ideas and suggestions in a relaxed environment.
- Assign collaborative projects that require teamwork and problem-solving skills to develop new initiatives.
- Introduce fun and creative challenges or competitions to encourage staff to showcase their innovative ideas and talents.
- Plan team-building activities outside of work hours to strengthen bonds among staff members and promote a supportive work environment.

Heather, it’s great to hear about your team’s collaborative efforts through regular meetings. Consider incorporating more hands-on activities and team-building exercises to enhance creativity and idea-sharing.
