Creativity and crafts are important for child development because it helped kids fine motor skills from and their imaginations grow and explore beyond the box. Younger children process creativity differently than older kids and adults. Younger children lack the “knowledge” of thinking “in the box” and it’s important to let them express that creativity while they can. Some safety measures they can take to make these kinds of activities safe for children is to make sure that they are buying safe ingredient products.

Arts and crafts are incredibly important to the development of our children. Children are often able to express themselves through artwork in ways they cannot verba express themselves. It’s important to facilitate activities that allow students to convey their stressors and things they are experiencing. It is also important to talk the students and help them understand what they are conveying through their artwork. Making sure the tools they use are safe is also important. Teachers and faculty are encouraged to read the ingredients on art labels.
