    Be patient and get them resources if possible

    Love them, be patient, have a little 1-1 time with them to get to know what the like and dislike.

    Be patient, documents, observe and use resources. Collaborate with parents to get more insight as well.

    I think you should let the child explore but you explore with the child , they can show you things through there eyes , and if you pay close attention you can learn from an Autistic child , but teach as well some children are more advanced than others . so continue teaching but don’t forget about the one whos not learning as fast as the others ,spend a little extra time with him or her because they may function on a different level .

    Be patient and understanding. Listen to the parent and asvocate for the child. Sometimes as parents we are busy and dont do the same activities that providers do with children and parents dont see what us providers see. Communicate all observations of behaviors right off the bat, do not be judgmenal, just state facts and help to guide parents to resourcess that are available.

    Remember that the child is loved by their family and has the right to be protected by us teachers. Every interaction we have with the child will make an impact on their growth and development.
