One of my coworkers got into gangs as a teen. She stated that she was always mad and angry at everyone and everything going on around her. She had enrolled in class and one particular teacher used to smile at her and ask about her days. Even though my friend was still belligerent, it slowly changed her. She got out of gangs and focused on changing her life. Today she is a teacher
