How do early experiences shape an infant’s emotional development, including trust, self-awareness, and responses to social cues? Share examples from your classroom or home setting where nurturing care, object permanence, or emotional interactions supported an infant’s growth.

Early experiences shape an infant’s emotional development, including trust, self-awareness, and responses to social cues because of how the child is cared for. In my classroom, I comfort infants when they cry. I try to make them feel heard and what to figure out what is making them upset.
