My favorite age is 5-5 year olds. This is my current classroom age and I love it! One reason I am so dedicated to this age group is that with children who have been through home turmoil (abuse, being taken in and out of homes, mother or father leaving, neglect,etc) I can show them love and how to handle emotions. I also love being able to represent, protect, and advocate for children who cannot do that themselves. A lot of people think I am crazy for choosing to hang out with 2 year olds who hit or bite me, but these kids are so smart and lovable once you can understand their needs.
