GuestApril 24, 2026 at 12:55 amA lot of these I notice are physical things of getting creative, which I love. What we do at our childcare is more Empathize verbal responses of making cleantiness fun. We sing songs that sing along to at the childcare to remind the kids about cleanliness.

GuestMay 5, 2026 at 9:08 pmuse simple games like cleanup races and cleanup songs to make tidying up fun and engaging for children. I also use picture labels and role-play activities so children can practice organizing and cleaning in a hands-on, playful way.

GuestMay 30, 2026 at 5:48 pmWe have kid-sized cleaning supplies like brooms, mops, etc., and any time we play with sand or after snack time, we have the kids get the supplies to clean the tables and floors. They absolutely love it!

GuestJune 15, 2026 at 7:52 amIf there are little beads or other small pieces of garbage on the floor I challenge the students to see if they can pick up more trash than I can and I make sure to announce loudly each time I pick up a piece because now they are anxious to pickup more than me. It is a fun friendly competition between me and the child while also tidying up the room.

GuestJune 18, 2026 at 12:18 amI have told my students to sing the ABC’S or the happy b-day song while scrubbing their hands with soap. We have 3 tables in the classroom so we have 3 designated table washers for the week. they help clean the tables before and after using them for eating or any other messy activity if necessary.

GuestJuly 7, 2026 at 9:17 pmI like using fun activities such as handwashing songs, role-playing, and simple games like matching pictures of healthy and clean habits. These activities help children learn about cleanliness in an enjoyable way while building good hygiene routines.

GuestJuly 17, 2026 at 8:08 pmWe are constantly making games while cleaning! Singing the clean up song, asking kids to pick up a certain colored block, trying to see who can grab the most in their hands, etc. When it comes to cleaning our hands and face we sing the ABC’s and make funny noises to help the kids WANT to wash their hands.
