    I loosely use IFS treatment strategy of using my 5 senses to build a support team in a safe place in my mind. I will take a mini 5-10 minute vacation there to relax and refuel.

    I participate in mindfulness activities. I use the DBT skills observe and describe, I use diaphramic breathing, as well as take time before each night to brain dump and practice self care

    I manage stress by taking short breaks throughout the day to clear my mind and refocus. Deep breathing exercises and listening to calming music help me relax when I feel overwhelmed. I also stay organized by making to-do lists and prioritizing tasks so I don’t feel rushed. Celebrating small accomplishments, spending time with family and friends, and getting regular exercise are other ways I reduce stress and maintain a positive outlook. These strategies help me stay calm, productive, and ready to handle challenging situations.

    Usually I’ll take a minute to walk outside and grab some fresh air, exercise deep breaths and give myself a pep talk. Remind myself that I am important and ensure myself I’m going to have a good day.

    I manage my stress after a work day by going on walks, and during the work day, I would sit on the floor with the babies and take deep breaths, and I think about all of the things I notice using my 5 senses.

    When I’m feeling stressed, I try to step away for a few minutes and reset instead of pushing through. Going for a short walk outside, listening to music, or taking a few deep breaths usually helps me clear my head. I also like making a to do list and breaking big tasks into smaller, more manageable steps because it makes everything feel less overwhelming.Another thing that helps is celebrating small wins. Even checking a task off my list gives me a sense of progress and motivates me to keep going. Spending time with family or doing something active also helps me recharge. I think everyone has different ways of managing stress, so it’s helpful to learn new techniques from others that we can add to our own stress management toolkit.

    One way I like to take break from stress is a dance party or listening to my favorite songs, also changing up the scenery so talking a quick walk down the hallway or outside.
