Es importante tener una rutina para que el niño se adacte a su proceso de enseñanza.

I think one important factor is having the daily schedule enlarged and printed and with pictures that describe the activities hung at a low level in an accessible spot in the classroom where children can see whats going to be happening throughout the day and know what to expect.

MemberAugust 9, 2023 at 3:50 pm- Involve children in the planning of routines
- Start with meal times and plan around that
- Take note of when children in your class typically arrive and leave to plan so that most children are included each day
-
create a plan for what you might want the routine to look like. Allow children to be a part of the prosses. not only does it help you, but it incorporates the children into thinking for themselves and wanting to actively participate.

MemberAugust 16, 2023 at 4:07 pmA tip I have is when a routine or schedule is made, keep to it! That routine is important for the children and the teacher as well. In our classroom when it it time to clean up to go outside we have an alarm that goes off. Then we put the clean up song on and we line up to go outside. Its super handy because all of the children go “Its outside time!!”.

MemberAugust 17, 2023 at 3:40 amTry to keep it simple, do not over schedule, keep a routine, do not be afraid that kids get bored…they love routine
- Let your child help make the routine.
- Be realistic about time and priorities.
- Be clear when you explain the routine.
- Put the routine in writing.
- Know that kids need support to learn routines.
-
Get kids involved. I would start with meals first ( snack & lunch) and try to balance between quiet time than outside time/ group activity than free choice. So children don’t get bored. Using pictures with schedule routine can be helpful for younger ones, also have some back up activities, be flexible and reinforce that some to-dos are non negotiable like tidying up toys.

MemberAugust 19, 2023 at 2:53 amSchedules are very important for a child. Keeping a consistent and healthy schedule that has few to no interruptions will help build expectancy and time management for a child. Suggestions such as helping the child build the schedule, making realistic time marks, putting the routine up to see and act as a reminder can help with building a great schedule.
