Three fears I might have when leaving my child in someone’s care would be harsh reactions from the care provider either verbal or physical, not being attentive to my child’s needs, and lack of supervision.

1) Treat my child with respect.
2) Make sure it is a safe and positive environment.
3) Child is learning and growing.
Fears:
1) Child being abused.
2) Not having emotional support.
3) A weak curriculum not focused on child development.

3. trust
I went to school knowing only Spanish and it was very difficult for me to communicate with teachers . I wouldn’t want my child to ever feel like he/she cant ask for help or feel cared for. I felt like teachers didn’t really try to help me. I wouldn’t want my child to through what i went through .

2. My biggest fear would be that my child would not receive the care he or she requires to be well cared for and safe in his or her child care setting.

MemberSeptember 6, 2023 at 7:25 pmIf I was a parent of a young child, three things I would want most from my child’s provider is for them to Care for my child the same way they would there own child/family, give the support and developmental growth they need, and protect them and accept them regardless of any cultural or belief differences. Some fears I may have leaving my child in someone else care is them not paying enough attention to my child and it leading to an injury of my baby, as well as them not protecting my child and not being there for them when they need help or support. lastly I think I would be scared that something may happen to my child because the teacher isn’t having enough patience with my child and shakes him/her and causes serious life-long damages.

I would fear that my child may feel left out, rejected, neglected, and classroom may not be safe or as clean as it appears to my seeing eyes. That the teachers don’t always have the best practices or intentions for my child’s learning development.
