MemberSeptember 14, 2023 at 1:42 amAs a parent of a young child, three things I would want most from my child’s provider are open and effective communication, trustworthiness, and a safe and stimulating environment for my child’s development. I value regular updates on my child’s progress, any concerns or milestones they may reach, and assurance that my child is in safe hands. Three fears I might have when leaving my child in someone’s care include concerns about their safety, emotional well-being, and the quality of care they receive. I worry about potential accidents or unsafe situations, their ability to adapt emotionally to the new environment, and whether the caregiver will provide the level of attention and stimulation necessary for their development. Open communication and trust with the caregiver would significantly alleviate these fears and provide reassurance during my absence.

MemberSeptember 14, 2023 at 6:40 pmIf I were the parent dropping my child off at childcare I would want the provider to
1.Teat them with the kindness and patience as if they were their own child
2. Understand that there will be hard days
3. Teach them new skills each and everyday
3 Things I’m scarred will happen is
1. Not giving them the attention the other children are getting
2. Not enough patience ‘
3. Are not kindhearted

Is my child being nurtured? Is my child feeling supported and cared for? Is my child thriving and learning?

MemberSeptember 21, 2023 at 5:46 pmMy fears are: that my child would be unsafe; that my child would be unhappy or afraid; that my child would be treated poorly or impatiently.
My hoes are: that my child would feel safe; that my child would feel loved and cared for; that my child would develop a love of learning.

MemberSeptember 24, 2023 at 5:34 am– The three things I want most are a safe environment, friendly treatment and sufficient attention and care.
– The three fears are not having a safe environment, not being treated fairly, and not having enough support

Three fears I might have when leaving my child under someone else’s care are: ignoring my child and their needs, not keeping my child safe from harm, and not being supportive of opinions I have about raising my child.

MemberSeptember 25, 2023 at 6:22 pmIf you were the parent of a young child, what do you think are the 3 most important things that you want from your child’s provider? I would want to know that my child’s safety was ensured, and I would want the care provider to tell me if anything went wrong, whether it was my child being bullied, or if my child was hurting other people. I would want to make sure that they felt comfortable enough to tell me and to work together on fixing it.
3 fears- I would be afraid of what I mentioned above- I would be scared that my child may not be safe, either from other students, the caregivers, or the threat of intruders. I would also be worried about my child getting along well with the other children, and I’d be worried that the caregivers might not want to tell me if there’s a problem, although communication is what’s needed
