2. To know His/her boundaries towards what he/she teaches my child.
3. open communication between the provider and myself. I want him/her to feel comfortable talking to me about anything going on with my child. Be it if my child got an injury, or if my child did something good or bad in class. I’d like to know about it.

MemberNovember 10, 2023 at 3:08 amIf I was the parent of a young child, I would want my child’s provider to: take care of my child by making sure their needs are met, keep my child safe, and make sure they are treated like everyone else.
Three fears are: the child may not be safe, the child’s needs might go unmet, they may not be monitored correctly.

1. I would want them to know them well, listen to them and provide a clean safe environment for them to learn in.
2. My fears are that they could not be paid attention too, that they would be taught negative things about themselves and that they would not be safe.

MemberNovember 12, 2023 at 3:17 pmMy 3 top fears would be:
Would they care enough and or are they adequately trained in handling emergencies, and if the environment is free from potential hazards.
How would my child cope being separated long enough from me and the security of home.
Lastly, I would worry about whether or not the caregivers are attentive, nurturing, and capable of meeting my child’s developmental needs.

As a parent of a young child, the three most crucial aspects I would seek from my child’s provider are effective communication and collaboration, ensuring I am kept informed and involved in my child’s daily experiences; a strong emphasis on safety and well-being, creating a secure and nurturing environment that promotes both physical and emotional health; and a commitment to providing quality early learning, with a well-structured curriculum, engaging activities, and a supportive atmosphere that fosters my child’s overall development and instills a love for learning.
