If I was a parent of a young child, three things I would want most from my child’s provider is for them to

    1. Provide a safe and healthy environment for my child to explore the world.

2.Meet them where they are at, offering the best opportunity to learn.

    3. Advocate for there mental health.

Three fears I might have when leaving my child under someone else’s care are

    1. My child being harmed

    2. My child being left unattended

    3. My child being made fearful of another teacher or student

If I were a parent of a young child, I would value clear and open communication about my child’s daily activities, progress, and any concerns. I would also seek a nurturing and safe environment that promotes my child’s emotional and social development. Finally, I would want the provider to offer guidance and resources to support my child’s learning and development both at the childcare facility and at home.

    1) To grow a bond and respect them as who they are

    2) Be able to access their needs and wants

    3) won’t be afraid to tell them right from wrong even if they need to be stern about it (tough love goes a long ways)

If I was a parent of a young child the 3 most important things I would need/want are

    1. Ensuring my child is getting the proper attention necessary while at the childcare center

    2. I would want communication with the provider and I would want the provider to inform me if my child is displaying certain behaviors, any changes, etc

    3. I would want to make sure my child is getting fed properly, their feeding habits and how often they go outside to play.

If I was a parent of a young child, the three most important things I would want from my child’s provider are trust and communication, individualized care and attention, and a supportive partnership that respects my role as a parent and offers guidance and support in nurturing my child’s development.

My wants when someone is taking care of my child is a clean & safe environment. Proper care for growth development and enough attention given. As well as teaching my child how to make new connections.
My fears would be for their safety. If any accidents or injuries happen what is the protocol. And for the overall health of my child when being in a unknown place.

    1. -I would want my child’s provider to accept and work with my child regardless of strengths and weaknesses. I would want my child’s provider to foster a spirit of curiosity and encourage their love for learning. I would want my child to be safe and cared for.

    2. 3 fears: 1. fear that my child would be bullied – have negative interactions with peers 2. fear that my child would be abused- have traumatic experiences with adults 3. fear that my child would not feel a sense of community at school.

I would want my child to learn manners, how to be respectful and how to be a good friend. I would also want them to learn the educational items as well.
