Safety and Nurturing Care I would want to know that my child is in a safe, clean, and welcoming environment where they are cared for with kindness and respect. Feeling confident that my child is protected and emotionally supported would be my top priority. Open and Honest Communication Regular updates about my child’s day, progress, and any concerns would be essential. I’d appreciate a provider who listens to my input, shares observations, and works with me as a partner in my child’s development. • 3. Opportunities for Learning and Growth I’d look for a provider who offers engaging activities that support my child’s curiosity, creativity, and social skills. I’d want my child to be encouraged to explore, try new things, and develop a love of learning in a fun and supportive setting.

If I were the parent of a young child, the three most important things I want from my child’s provider are: 1. My child should be safe, happy, and looked after with love and kindness. 2. I also want the provider to talk to me regularly about how my child is doing, what they are learning, and if there are any problems. 3. It’s important that they listen to me too and work with me as a team.Three fears I might have when leaving my child under someone else’s care are:1. My child won’t feel safe or emotionally supported. 2. I might also worry that what my child is saying is not fully understood. 3. I won’t be told everything that happens during the day, especially if there’s a problem.

If I were the parent of a young child, the three things I would want most from my child’s provider would be trust, communication, and nurturing care. I would want to know that my child is safe and in capable hands, that the provider communicates openly about my child’s progress and daily experiences, and that they offer a warm, supportive environment where my child can learn, explore, and grow. Three fears I might have when leaving my child in someone else’s care would be worrying about my child’s safety, scared that they might feel lonely or anxious without me, and fear that their needs or unique personality might not be fully understood or supported. Knowing that the provider is attentive, compassionate, and communicative would help ease these fears.

What I would want: 1. Patience from my provider2. Solid Communication about my child. 3. Safety Biggest fears1. Being easily frustrated with my child and other children causing negative behavior (feeling unsafe, scared)2. Important needs being overlooked (not getting enough supervision, hands on learning or nutritious meals/snacks)3. No academic or stimulating learning incorporated in their day to day activities.

I would need clear and honest communication with my child’s care staff. I would also want them to give my child the attention they need on a daily basis, and lastly I would want to know if my child was struggling, if they are helping my child grow and help them work through some of those struggles. I fear my child being ignored and not getting attention. I also fear them not accepting my child of who they are and wanting to change them, lastly I fear my child is not getting the proper education and care they might need and not enough activities.
