If you make it a game, or sing as you do it, kids tend to get into it more easily.

You can make healthy habits fun by singing songs or making it a fun game. An example of this is, every time we need to brush our daughters teeth we sing, “Brush Brush Brush your teeth” and she loves it and will run to grab her toothbrush.

Games are another way to make healthy habits fun.
Olly Pop is a great example of using a specific character/ spokesperson to help make healthy habits fun and easier to remember. -
You can make healthy habits fun for children by making a game out of them, or teaching kids songs to sing while doing them. These can make children become excited to exercise healthy habits.

I feel it is often helpful to engage children in activities by gearing activities towards their interest. If you bring joy into it and somehow make it a fun activity, they may be encouraged to engage on their own.

You can make healthy habits fun by employing little games or songs with the habitual activities. I love using short songs to encourage children to wash their hands for the recommended amount of time, as the children really enjoy singing along.

To sing songs with them and make them feel like these things are not chores but to understand how good it feels to wash your hands for example or to brush your teeth. You can sing you can dance you can make up rhymes you could even make a car game out of it and be like OK this is what we could do first like the the card that you get this is what we’ll

At our school we have our teachers sit and eat with the children. This helps boost conversation and behavior. We also compare our healthy eating habits by seeing each other’s similarities and naming the colors in our lunches.

Personifying some element of the habit can make it fun. For example, saying that: “Germs like to hang out on our hands, but they’re not supposed to be there! By washing our hands, we say ‘bye bye germs!'” and encourage them to say it back.

You could make healthy habits into a game, or sing songs and tell funny stories about them.

make fun shapes and colors on your child’s plate.Exploring new recipes and sharing the process with your children. Allowing them to choose their meals and engaging them in food making makes them enjoy mealtime and get excited about what they make.

At my Preschool, we include a good amount of healthy and reasonable opportunities for the children to make voluntary decisions about what they want for themselves. We let them choose whether or not they want to brush their teeth after every meal, and we provide meals with a variety of different foods to try. They are welcome to eat what they want out of what we offer, and if they change their mind about wanting to try something, we give it to them! I noticed that we don’t do a lot in trying to make healthy habits fun. We just have them do it and explain how important it is to take care of yourself and why. We do have a cute bilingual song we sing for cleanup time, but that’s kind of it!
