You make them fun by having a good attitude about it and make it a positive thing, personally I use being able to do stuff afterwards as my “prize”

Make it fun by it looking like a game and playing around with each other.

Make healthy habits fun by adding upbeat music, and fun activities that will excite the children. When doing a physical activity make it a game, we did that in my elementary school and it was always really fun. Lastly, don’t add any negative connotations to the healthy habit(s).

We sing songs when washing hands to teach the children how long to wash their hands for and help them learn health habits!

We can create activities and read about healthy habits. We can also play with things like kitchen sets that include healthy foods. We can also engage the children with physical activities like dances, or other fun movement activities. Playing outside with climbing equipment and bikes.

Dramatic play in the kitchen while talking about healthy eating habits. Maybe we can play like we’re at a restaurant, and talk about the choices we could order. We can match foods up by color, by size, by shape. We can play games, and sing and dance while we learn.

When I am teaching healthy habits I try to use a positive tone and sometimes make things into song, such as washing your hands and being a “veggie monster“To get them to eat their veggies.

Back when I was in gymnastics I made it fun by turning healthy habits into a game. The kids loved it!
