Also the clean-up song is a great way to encourage students to clean, and even a teacher coming up with their own would be great too.

Singing while hand washing and cleaning.
For my preschoolers and up I like to either set a timer and have them race against the clock to be done cleaning or preparing for lunch, i.e. washing their hands, putting their jackets away, using the restroom. Sometimes I have them race to clean their chairs.
