As a teacher, I would model healthy habits in an enthusiastic and fun way, with very rhythmic songs that are not boring for the children.

You can make healthy habits fun by incorporating songs or rhymes with the action like washing hands. Ypu could make colorful or attention getting signs to go with the steps in handwashing. Encourage the child to do it himself or part of it like dressing up. Demonstrate how it is done.

Show children to wash their hands before and after meals and make a chart of good healthy habits and give them stickers to put up every time they apply their healthy habits

Play together inside or outside, exercise together, learn about nutrition by cooking something easy, singing songs and dancing, telling stories, reading books, and listening to meditation music.

Healthy habits can be fun when we sing songs about them, turn them into games, add fun colors or characters like having a paw patrol toothbrush, make them sensory experiences like different textures in our food, get the kids engaged, have them teach the teachers how to do it.

By taking advantage of their curiosity. You can use books with images of healthy foods and seem interested yourself by eating what they are eating. You can also sing songs when cleaning and play with toys that help them learn shapes and colors.

Cooking together is not only fun for adults and people who work with young learners, but it is fun for everyone. Reading the labels and discussing the different types of nutrients helps young learners be aware of nutrition and make healthy decisions regarding food and exercise.

We can make healthy habits fun by using upbeat songs, games and rituals around doing them. Having set movement breaks and learning about healthy food science can be set to music, routines, and be read about in books

One way to make healthy habits fun is to turn it into a song or dance. For example, washing hands is helpful to sing a song such as “twinkle, twinkle, little star”.

I believe what we eat and have our children eating is big thing! I have a large garden that I will have the children plant their veggies and maintain, then when veggie matures the can pick to take home. I feel showing the kiddos how to garden will be a fun way to healthy eating.

sing songs like ‘the clean up’ song or give stamps or stickers when a child washes their hands on their own or throws away trash. Encouraging words and congratulations helps build those habits too.
