I use a flat, firm crib or bassinet with no pillows, blankets, or toys. The baby sleeps on their back to stay safe. This helps prevent risks like suffocation or SIDS.
-
Great job, Poojitha! Your emphasis on safety and the importance of a firm sleep surface is excellent.

2 months fit in the mini pack and plays. This is the cusp of aging out of a bassinet. Of course a regular crib, evac crib or full size pack and play works too. Don’t be like my former co-teacher who put sound machines in cribs with the babies, either.
-
Great insights, Nicole! It’s important to prioritize safety in sleep equipment choices for infants. Awareness of sound machines is crucial!

For a two-month-old infant you should use firm, flat crib or bassinet that meets safety regulations, an infant car seat, infant swing or bouncer only using it when the infant is awake and supervised. Avoid equipment like walkers or jumpers at this age, they are not developmentally appropriate or safe for a 2-month-old.

Great job, Evelyn! Your response highlights essential safety measures and appropriate equipment for infants. Well done!

A single-level crib with a mattress that touches all sides is what is needed for an infant of this age.

A crib with a mattress and always lay them on their back to sleep

Great advice, Tabitha! A crib and back-sleeping are essential for safe sleep practices for infants.

-
Each child should have their own crib with a firm mattress that fits the frame
-
Great point, Róisín! Individual cribs with firm mattresses enhance safety and comfort for infants. Well said!
