We have monthly staff meetings, as well as an additional monthly “cohort meeting” where the teachers of each age group get together to meet and talk about ideas, new strategies, and have training opportunities. We also include games when we can, to help encourage bonding among the staff.

One way to boost creativity could be to have monthly small brainstorm session. Maybe something as short as10-minute even. we could be using sticky notes to capture ideas, making sure to encourage “yes, and…” to encourage no judgement.

We don’t really need to have meetings since there are only three of us and we all communicate every day. But I do think it would be a great idea to involve the parents a bit more into what we’re doing. I think it’s important to hear how they feel their child is doing and discuss what works and what doesn’t. Then it will also be more likely that they will want to help or participate in some way.

Macy, your perspective on daily communication is valuable! Involving parents can indeed enhance creativity and collaboration. Consider informal feedback sessions or fun family activities to strengthen those connections!

At our childcare center we have weekly staff meetings every Friday. This allows us to regroup and discuss any issues our classes may be having, or brainstorm new activities we can plan for each room.

We can host a meeting open to the public so that we have the opportunity to discuss ways each center enhances creativity and share ideas. We can learn so much when we partner with others to share ideas.

One of the easiest ways we can boost creative thinking in our daycare is by making collaboration feel natural and low‑pressure. Simple things like having a shared “idea wall” where staff can jot down quick thoughts, activity ideas, or challenges can spark creativity without needing a full meeting. We could also try short, fun brainstorming moments during staff check‑ins—like a two‑minute “What if we tried…?” round where everyone shares one playful idea.Another easy step is pairing teachers up for mini‑collaboration sessions. Even ten minutes of talking through a classroom challenge together can lead to fresh, creative solutions. We can also rotate who leads small idea‑sharing moments so everyone gets a chance to shine and contribute.Overall, the goal is to make sharing ideas feel easy, supportive, and even a little fun. When people feel comfortable and valued, creativity naturally grows.

We can boost creative thinking at our daycare by working together and sharing ideas often. We can have quick brainstorming times during meetings where everyone shares fun activity ideas. Creating a simple idea board in the staff room can also help teachers post and swap ideas easily.Keeping it positive and open — where no idea is wrong — will help everyone feel comfortable sharing. When we collaborate and support each other, creativity will grow naturally in our childcare center.

I think collaborating with your team is extremely important. You want feedback from all members of your team whether its lead teachers, assistants, cooks or janitors. Everyone deserves to be part of a team and have a say. A great way to do this is to make it fun with ice breakers, or contests around the school! I like to cook for my teachers or surprise them with other treats throughout the month

We can team up by considering all our teachers as their own owner of their own daycare so that we can take what each classroom may need because they can be different but still helpful to each other even if we bring it into our classrooms slightly differently than the other. This helps the diverse thinking of each of to take into consideration what does and doesn’t work for others

At our daycare, we can boost creative thinking by having regular staff meetings where everyone can share ideas and talk about what is working well and talk about what is working well and what could be improved. We can also brainstorm new activities for the children, discuss classroom challenges, and support each other with suggestions.

At our facility, we can encourage creative thinking by giving staff more chances to collaborate and share ideas. Simple brainstorming meetings, idea boards and group planning for activities or events can help everyone contribute. To make idea sharing easier, we can keep meetings relaxed, encourage all ideas without judgment and use shared group chats or notes for quick communication. Working together helps build teamwork and creates more fun and engaging experiences for the children.

One way our staff boosts creativity is by having mostly staff bonding. Sometimes we go out to a restaurant other times we do an activity with each other . It helps create a safe space between the staff and grow more connected.
