My goal is to enroll 8 more kids to be able to have more revenue to purchase new playground equipment.

A smart budget can really help a child care program shine by making sure every dollar supports both quality care and meaningful learning experiences. One goal I’d chase with a well-planned budget is expanding creative learning spaces, like adding a dedicated hands-on-science and art area for children. That would help support curiosity, exploration, and skill-building in a fun way.Shoutout to the idea of funding a “glittery art station”- that’s a great example of turning budgeting into something exciting and creative!

I say when you have a great budget it can help you expand enrollment, invest in creative learning environments, upgrade outdoor play areas, add new curriculum materials, and even support and retain your best teachers. One goal for me would be expanding high-quality learning environments because it can support children’s exploration, movement, and social development.
