You can make handwashing a fun and good practice, after any activity involving sticky or wet substances. when they get paint on their hand it is a great way to “get in between your fingers”

Hand washing can be fun by using effective and interesting items such as colorful soaps or make it an activity for them to learn proper handwashing with glitter or flourescent lights.

Teaching them to count to 20-30 seconds while washing as counting practice, or singing twinkle twinkle little star while they wash their hands. Or using fun soaps! Soaps with fun scents or foaming applications are always enjoyable.

We can have a chart system to offer small rewards like stickers or candy to children who consistently wash their hands.

I make hand washing fun by joking with the children I work with. I try to make it fun by getting the kids to not fight and join in by making it exciting.

We sing songs – Tops and Bottoms; ABC’s; we have also used washable paint to show how important hand washing is.

a fun way to wash hands with the kids is to involve a special interest like making it a paw patrol mission to get rid of all the germs and save everybody by keeping our hands germ free.

While singing is a great way to make hand washing fun, your comment doesn’t directly address hands-on science activities.
