GuestJuly 18, 2022 at 4:04 pmYour facial expressions helps determine a childs mood. If you are smiling, laughing, grinning the children are going to wait to interact. If you look mad or upset kids are going to not interact because it will be a sense of fear.

GuestJuly 19, 2022 at 6:33 pmWhen I think back to my school experiences as a child, it was the teachers who greeted me at the door each morning with a friendly smile and a happy demeanor that I remember the most. I was more introverted as a kid and walking into an environment like I described above made a world of difference.

GuestJuly 20, 2022 at 1:34 pmAs a caregiver, we are sometimes the people that children spend most of their days with. It is important to have a smile on your face for these kids even if you are having a bad day. The smile on your face can spread to the children and leave them with a smile.

GuestJuly 20, 2022 at 2:09 pmSmiling at a child is a great way to begin a trusting relationship. Often children come with backgrounds that are negative and we need to earn their trust and show them that we care about them in order to make a positive impact. Smiling can be the start of a positive relationship.
