GuestFebruary 24, 2023 at 5:17 pmI would encourage learning with all domains of development through play and relationship building. Using a variety of strategies because not everyone learns the same way. Making sure the learning activities are appropriate for the age group and are meaningful to their learning.

GuestSeptember 2, 2023 at 7:28 pmBeing a teacher is an important job. A consistent learning environment, organization, using a variety of teach tools and reaching all areas of child development are all important factors when thinking about infants. Supporting home life and a culture children are raised in are important as you work with individuals or as a group in assessment. Keeping a good working relationship between parents, teachers and children are essential in developing children in their growth.

GuestDecember 27, 2023 at 7:14 pmWhen it comes to the developmental appropriateness of an activity, I tried to focus on the safety of the material and present it in a way that is safe for that child’s development. Children under the age of two for example, need to be able to investigate objects with their whole body, including their mouth. If reading and talking are particularly joyful for the family, I will make sure to tie in storytelling to the curriculum. The best activities are ones that reflect the values of the community.

Adjust your teaching to fit the kids’ abilities, provide hands-on activities, and make a welcoming environment where children can learn freely and feel encouraged to explore at their own speed.
