I would show them all of our centers; art, building blocks, dramatic play area, lunch area, etc. would bring attention to our ability to see the children at every point no matter where teacher may be standing. I would make sure to show them the bathroom area for potty training and make sure they know its a kid safe environment.

schedule some projects or activities around things that are relevant in the childrens lives, for example, in the winter months can do a project centered around snow which allows the children to share their snow stories and the teacher to explain terminology and open up conversation.

Observing and documenting a child’s development helps a childcare provider by allowing you to easier track any behaviors and trends to later guide the teacher in better supporting each child individually instead of randomly.

I learned there are several WACs related to animals which is neat. I absolutely see how the WACs will impact every day at the school and help in providing a safe and healthy environment for everyone
