What did you discover about the WACs while completing the activity? <strong style=”background-color: var(–bb-content-background-color); font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; color: var(–bb-body-text-color);”>There were a lot more than I originally assumed there would be. The way that they are sorted is helpful especially if you need to look up something specific.
Were you surprised by any of the WACs? I think I was surprised the most by the expulsion section. Expulsion is a big thing that sometimes has to happen, from an employee point of view that’s something I don’t necessarily think about often but I completely understand that in some cases it needs to happen.
Can you see how the WACs will influence your day-to-day practice in caring for children? Why or why not? The WACs absolutely influence my day-to-day practice in caring for children. The WACs are the rules which run the program smoothly, without them the programs can be extremely dangerous and unhelpful for developing children.
