1. I originally believed that the WACs were only really important to know if you run a center/program. I realize now that it is also important for employees to know the regulations in order to maintain a safe environment for the kids.
2. I was surprised to learn that centers need to notify the state if they are closing for more than 30 days. I figured they would only need to notify families.
3. I feel like I can see how the WACs impact my day-to-day practice in caring for children. For example, the WACs tell employees how to be professional and what is expected of them.
